Most of our sessions start from the Community Centre.(pictured right) If you want to know where Cumbria is, here’s a map of Great Britain . Cumbria is the bit that sticks out into the Irish Sea just north of Morecambe Bay and mostly to the left of the M6 motorway. It contains the Lake District. Allithwaite is just off the A590 between Kendal and Ulverston. Here’s a map which gives the location of Allithwaite within South Cumbria. As you pass through the town towards Cartmel, you will find Quarry Lane on the right hand side between the Post Office and the Lantern Shop.
